Libra New Moon Solar Eclipse

The upcoming Solar Eclipse this year is a significant event, and one that we should all be aware of. These eclipses are huge cycle breakers and have karmic release points. Therefore, it is important to be very intentional this month with your actions, thoughts , and choices. There are many factors to take into consideration, which will affect the areas in our lives that this eclipe will be highliting. We have to keep in mind the position of the plantes, the constellations that they are in, and the cycles that we are in. Each eclipse is unique with it's own energy dynamic and the vibration it carries. Venus is the ruler of this eclipse because of the position in the sky that she is in, & will also be the ruler of the upcoming one on Oct. 28th.

With this eclipse, we will have a New Moon in the sign of Libra, emphasizing relationships and communication themes. All forms of relationships are up for review, including partnerships, family, friends, co-workers, acquaintances etc. We are no longer the same person we once were, and as a result, our values are changing or have changed, and we are being called to re-asses what no longer serves who we are today. We can naturally expect to see more of people making career changes, possibly moving locations, maybe even completing long-term relationships.

Are there certain relationships that take too much energy for you to maintain? Are you in a complacent or unbalanced relationship, and if so, what needs to change, in order for both partners to be in a good space? Also, be mindful of what dynamic you portray and how do YOU interact with others. Is there something that you need to change, within yourself, or is it time to let go of a connection that is no longer beneficial. Self-reflect and be honest with youself. How do you want to be loved? What can no longer continue for you, whether it is a behavior or trait you want to change, or if the issue is with somebody else. How do you communicate with those around you and could you possibly speak kinder to your family/co-workers or maybe learn to be more direct? How are you expressing yourself in the world?

Another factor to consider is the position of the North Node, which is our future/evolved self, and the South Node, which is having to deal with karma and our past. During the eclipse, the North Node will be in the constellation of Aries and The South Node will be in the constellation of Libra. You will feel this push and pull between your old self and your new self. It can be hard to step into the life that we desire, but you must first take the initial step in order to create momentum, which will propell your dreams forward. Keep your eye on the horizon. Stay focused on the life you are creating. Are you going to stay where you are at because you do not want to upset anybody (Libra) OR will you move forward to become the person you envision (Aries.) Use these karmic,cycle breaking energy points to release old energy patterns, addictions, decision making, and connections that are keeping you stuck or low. It is time to level up and be free from who you used to be. Remember, the choices and decisions we make at this time will have a direct affect on your future outcome, so choose wisely.
