Cultures throughout the world have been utilizing herbs in multiple forms. Dried plant leaves and the roots may be used to make teas, salves, and herbal remedies. We underestimate the heling benefits of natural remedies and age old, tried and true traditions. Yes, benefits may seem subtle at first and yes, it may take a bit more time to see results, but yes, they may also work for you just as well. How, you may ask. By establishing and building a relationship with the plant energy in a basic tradition of drinking tea.
My motto is that healing has to be approached at a mind, body, and soul level. Kitchen Witch Realm is about connecting with your spiritual aspect. Our mission is to bring back daily rituals which connect to your soul. We get consumed with our daily rituals of obligation and neglect the nudges to partake in rituals that feed our soul. Part of that is understanding that everything has an essence and if you allow it, is available to communicate with you, since everything is about partnership. We partake in daily rituals all day long, unknowingly or not. But the moment you decide to partake in mindful ritual, the absorber becomes the observer and is now able to consciously affect the experience and everything becomes a ritual.

I enjoy making a variety of herbal tea blends for multiple purposes. Just having basic general understanding of certain spices, herbs and plants, can be all the knowledge you need to create your own daily mixes. Making tea is the easiest form to incorporate herbal medicine. Some blends can be enjoyed hot or cold; and with or without without any sweetener such as stevia, monk sweetener, coconut sugar, or honey. Which ever way you prefer, making an initiative to start a relationship with plants can be easy as that...by taking them in and letting them speak to you, found in the blends you create.
Taking out a couple of moments during the day to drink tea is a great way to start a daily ritual. Make it your morning ritual or evening ritual. Whether you are merely taking a moment to delight in their flavor or seeking their healing properties... incorporating the benefits of plants can be as simple as drinking tea.
